Presentation

The Judiciary Police (Polícia Judiciária) is the national criminal investigation police agency of Portugal, focused on fighting serious crimes, including homicides, kidnapping, organised crime, terrorism, illegal drug trade, corruption, cybercrime and financial crime. It is integrated into the Ministry of Justice, but operates under the supervision of the Public Ministry.
The flag is blue with a centred logo, the Portuguese lesser arms in a blue disc framed by a golden wreath, all in a square golden police star with 16 rays, all in another blue disc fimbriated golden, all in a golden scoll with blue inscription POLICIA JUDICIARIA.
